The Posters are poets. Currently, they reside
in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Together, they share five
children and many grandchildren.

During their first years together John would write a new
poem for Joanna almost every day telling her how
important she was to him. This activity happened as
often as needed until Joanna fell head over
heals in love with John and poetry.
